The Versatile Blogger Award

I am so very flattered and excited and weeeeeeee
The darling Kate of Webster's Updates has honored me
with my very first blogging award!

The Rules for the award are:
  • Thank the person who gave you this award
  • Share 7 things about yourself
  • Pass the award along to 15 bloggers who you have recently discovered and who you think are fantastic! (in no particular order...)
  • Contact the bloggers you've picked and let them know about the award.
The first rule is the easiest!
A honest and heartfelt thank you to lovely Kate!

Seven things about myself...
  1. I have way too many pets, but I love them all like they were my kids.  (Except for that damn cat.  I love her, but she is truly obnoxiously annoying.  I love her like the neighbor's kid who comes over and rubs Play-Doh in your carpet and eats his boogers.)
  2. My husband is 10 1/2 years older than me.  We met when he was 33 and I was 22.  His friends kept asking if our first date was at Chucky Cheese.
  3. I can, and have, eaten an entire can of Pringles in one sitting.  I can cut a scandalous swath through a bag of Oreos.  It is vitally important that neither of these evil things ever come into my home.

  4. I have a massive amount of beads and still want more.  I have spent way more than I care to admit on jewelry supplies.  This is why I know to avoid scrapbooking.  My marriage and bank account would not survive it.
  5. I adore traditional clocks and have quite a few throughout my home.  None of them display the correct time.  My husband sets all the digital clocks, but I'm in charge of the analogs.  {Don't trust them, they will make you late.}
  6. If I could, I would never wear shoes.  I love shoes, have way too many, and adore shoe shopping, but going barefoot is always my preference.  (Fuzzy slippers are the next best thing to barefoot, of course.)  (Oh, and stealing wearing my husband's socks.)
  7. Vodka martini, extra dry, extra dirty.  The only person who can make a martini exactly right is my husband, who doesn't drink vodka.
I would like to pass this award to:
