My husband was called for jury duty, and is currently at the courthouse waiting to see if he'll have to serve.
He can't use his cell in the courtroom, but as he's been waiting to be called in, he's been texting me.
Here's the convo so far:
Him: This pic about sums it up:
(View of the intake officer's desk.)
Me: Um, wow. That's not ominous or anything.
Him: At least it's only the intake official and not the judge.
Me: No kidding. I don't even want to think about what's on the judge's desk.
Him: If I had to deal with these people I'd have something like that too.
Him: I just overheard the following: "Honey, if you knew you was gonna see da judge, you shoulda worn your good cap."
Me: Wonder what qualifies as a "good" cap for court.
Me: I'm guessing these belong in the "Not the Good Cap" category:
Him: No, it was probably his Dale Earnhardt cap instead of Jimmy Johnson.
